Japan's brand new cybersecurity ministry has quieted his country from saying he never made use of a computer keyboard.
Yoshitaka Sakurada forced the entrance to some committee of lawmakers.
"Ever since I had been 25 yrs of age and separated I've taught my team and secretaries. I've not ever used a pc in my own life," he explained, based on a translation by the Kyodo news service.
The 68-year-old has been appointed to his post.
"that I think it is incredible that somebody who's accountable for cybersecurity measures never made use of a pc," he explained.
However, Mr. Sakurada reacted that additional officials needed the essential experience and he was convinced there might not be an issue.
But his find it difficult to answer a follow-up question concerning if USB drives were being used at the nation's atomic power stations caused further concern.
The revelation was discussed on societal networking at which the reaction was a variety of astonishment and hilarity, with some noting that it will mean Mr. Sakurada will be tough to hack on.
